All you rainbows in the clouds, thanks for coming along to the launch event. Everyone I spoke to was really positive about the Maya Angelou Libraries, I’m sure we can count on your continued support as the project moves on to the next stage.

And what a wonderful time we all had! Highlights for me include:

Dr Angelou’s video – wasn’t it so heart warming?
Watching Baronesses Amos and Scotland getting on down to the Revelation Choir
Siphiwo Ntshebe, loved the Zulu song
Everyone’s faces when the saxophonist started rapping – so unexpected!

We’ll get some photos from Saturday posted up asap and a few other Thank U staff, committee members and volunteers blogging so please visit the site regularly. In the meantime don’t forget to:

Auction Prizes!
